Dr. Mata is a magician among periodontists. I wish every dentist and dental student could study under him or at the very least, shadow him for a few days. He is very easy-going, he describes every detail before the procedure and again as he is going through it, and he regularly asks if you have questions. He even gives time checks throughout- about 30% done, almost halfway done, 3 minutes left.... so many little touches that decrease anxiety throighout the procedure. He made a very scary 3-quadrant bone graft so smooth and easy. Thank you, Promenade Smiles and Dr. Mata!
